A wonderful world in miniature!
Kolejkowo is more than an exhibition – it’s a place where the world becomes 25 times smaller. It’s where picturesque villages, bustling cities and mountain landscapes come together in one wondrous world that can be observed from a whole new perspective. In the miniature world, trains glide along the tracks, cars swerve at intersections, and streetcars lazily pass through miniature streets. Among the hundreds of situational scenes, there are both everyday moments and a touch of humor that makes everyone smile.
Kolejkowo is a place created for families with children, enthusiasts, schools and anyone who, at least for a moment, wants to move to another world – charming and surprising at every turn.
The network consists of four locations. Exhibitions in Wroclaw, Gliwice and Warsaw attract thousands of visitors each year. In 2024, we also opened a unique Modelarnia in Jelenia Góra – a place where visitors can see live how our miniature wonders are made and watch the masters at work. This is the only such place in Poland.
And this is just the beginning – Kolejkowo is growing all the time and planning more locations so that even more people can immerse themselves in this unique, warm and detailed world.
History
Kolejkowo was created from a dream that we decided to put into practice. The story begins in 2014, when during the vacations we decide to put up a tent by the main promenade in Karpacz and present in it a few years of our modeling work. We didn’t expect much…
Beginnings – Giant Mountains, 2013
Kolejkowo was born from the childhood passion and imagination of Jakub Paczynski, who created the first model… in the garage. In the light of fluorescent lamps a miniature world was created, which was first presented to tourists on the promenade in Karpacz. The mock-up was the result of years of work by amateur modelers, who created the elements in their own homes – without the support of professional tools, but with great determination and creativity.
2014 – Exhibition in a tent by the promenade in Karpacz
The exhibition in a 150 m² tent attracted crowds of tourists. Visitors could see a miniature Lower Silesia – mock-ups of trains, buildings, scenes from everyday life. The success of the exhibition and suggestions from visitors led to the decision to move the undertaking to a larger city and create a year-round exhibition.
2015 – Wroclaw: Świebodzki railway station
January 26, 2015. Kolejkowo is opening an exhibition under the slogan “Trains are returning to Świebodzki Station!”. Wroclaw was a symbolic choice – the creators had personal memories with it, and the city’s residents quickly loved the new attraction.
2016 – Gliwice: expansion into Silesia
In September 2016, Kolejkowo opened in the Europa Centralna shopping center. The new model featured landmarks from all over Silesia, and the exhibition quickly gained regional popularity.
2021 – Moving to Sky Tower in Wroclaw, Poland
The historic Świebodzki Station proved too small. In 2021, Kolejkowo moved to a modern space in the Sky Tower, where the largest exhibition of railroad mock-ups in Poland was built. The time of day changes there every day, and the lights, sounds and movement create the impression of a bustling city.
2024 – Opening of the Model Shop in Jelenia Góra.
In November 2023, construction of a modern modeling plant with office space in Jelenia Góra was completed, and as of March 22, 2024, the facility was opened to the public as part of a ticketed demonstration track. The modeling plant serves as the heart of the Railway – this is where all the new elements are built, the management of all locations takes place, and visitors can approach the work of modelers from behind the scenes.
2025 – Warsaw: a miniature capital city
April 11, 2025. Kolejkowo has opened its fourth location – this time in the heart of Warsaw, in the Warsaw Towers building at 39 Sienna St. Visitors can see well-known places in the capital – Gdansk Bridge, Zbawiciela Square, Wola Depot or Różycki Bazaar – presented with attention to detail, surrounded by realistic sounds, lights and scenes of urban life.
