Rules and Regulations of the Model Railroad

Kolejkowo Modelarnia in Jelenia Góra is open to visitors 365 days a year from Monday to Sunday, including holidays.

The tour time is about 50 minutes.

Entrances are made every half hour, only with a Guide.

30 minutes before closing, Visitors are no longer allowed in and the ticket office does not sell admission tickets. Reservations for the following day will be possible.

Visitors are required to pay a ticket fee.

Tickets can be purchased online (see QR code) or at the box office.

You can visit the model railroad’s model shop individually or in groups.

An organized group is a minimum of 15 people, upon prior reservation.

The work of modelers and machines takes place in the model room. For safety reasons, you can not cross the designated red line painted on the floor of the model room.

Listen to and follow the instructions of the guide and the Railway staff.

It is forbidden to touch objects in the model room, especially equipment and machinery, without permission from the Railway staff or guide.

It is forbidden to approach Modelers’ stands and touch tools and substances.

Persons are entitled to purchase a discounted ticket upon presentation of the relevant documents:

  • children from 3-18 years old,
  • students,
  • retirees,
  • pensioners,
  • disabled persons with a guardian

Persons who have purchased discounted tickets in the online sales system are required to show a document entitling them to the discount to the attendant before entering the Kolejkovo tourist attraction. Discount tickets without proof of entitlement to a discount do not entitle you to enter the Kolejkovo tourist attraction – they are invalid.

Chaperones are responsible for the behavior and care of the safety of organized groups during the tour.

Guardians are responsible for the behavior and care of the safety of minors during the tour.

The facility is prohibited:

  • touching the elements of the exhibition and the mock-up
  • smoking
  • being under the influence of alcohol
  • introduction of animals
  • Entering rooms not intended for sightseeing
  • crossing the red line marking the path of the tour
  • bringing in firearms and dangerous objects
  • Admission of persons behaving in a manner that threatens the safety of persons and exposure, violating generally accepted norms of behavior in public places
  • touching objects, devices, machines and substances
  • separation from the group and the guide

Failure to comply with the prohibitions and instructions of the staff, and failure to comply with the rules of the Model Railway, may endanger the life or health of the Visitor.

Persons disobeying staff instructions or violating prohibitions will be asked to leave the facility without the right to a refund for their tickets.

In the event of the announcement of an alarm, such as a fire alarm, Visitors are required to immediately leave the building through the indicated exits and to obey the instructions of those in charge of the evacuation action.

In case of non-compliance with these Regulations and generally accepted norms of behavior in public places, guilty persons will be subject to criminal liability.

Visitors are required to read the rules and regulations before purchasing a ticket.

The purchase of a ticket is tantamount to acceptance of the rules and regulations of the Model Railway.

For items left on the premises of the Queue building, the owners of the facility are not responsible.

In matters not covered by these rules and regulations, Visitors are obliged to follow the instructions given by the employees of the facility.
